AIS of Georgia announces the availability of Terrain Data Sets and Obstacle Data Sets for Area 2 and Area 3 for testing purposes over the next four to six update cycles. Users are invited to review the data sets and share feedback.

• UGTB – TBILISI/Tbilisi Obstacle Data Set, which contains obstacle data for Area 2a/2b/2c/2d and Area 3
  (UGTB_OBS_DS_AREA_MULTI_YYYYMMDD);
• UGSB – BATUMI Obstacle Data Set, which contains obstacle data for Area 2a/2b/2c and Area 3
  (UGSB_OBS_DS_AREA_MULTI_YYYYMMDD);
• UGKO – KUTAISI/Kopitnari Obstacle Data Set, which contains obstacle data for Area 2a/2b/2c and Area 3
  (UGKO_OBS_DS_AREA_MULTI_YYYYMMDD).

The Obstacle Data Sets for Area 2 and Area 3 are available for download on the website of AIS of Georgia:

Obstacle Data Sets for Area 2 and Area 3 are provided in AIXM 5.1.1 format and contain features defined in ICAO Doc 10066 PANS-AIM. Obstacle Data Sets for Area 2 and Area 3 are provided as a zip file, which contains:

• Overview file assisting with navigation through the set of files,
• XML file of the data set,
• Data Product Specification,
• Inventory CSV file with name and number of contained features,
• Properties file with information about the exported data set in the format key=value, and
• SHA-256 checksum.

• UGTB – TBILISI/Tbilisi Terrain Data Set, which contains terrain data for Area 2 and Area 3
  (UGTB_Terrain_DS_AREA_MULTI_YYYYMMDD);
• UGSB – BATUMI Terrain Data Set, which contains terrain data for Area 2 and Area 3
  (UGSB_Terrain_DS_AREA_MULTI_YYYYMMDD);

Terrain Data Sets for Area 2 and Area 3 are provided as a zip file, which contains file in GeoTiff format and Data product Specification.

Obstacle Data Sets for Area 2 and Area 3 will be updated in accordance with AIRAC cycle whenever changes occur. The initial full Obstacle Data Sets for Area 2 and Area 3 will be provided with TimeSlice interpretation “BASELINE”.

Subsequent updates will include:

• Full updated data set with TimeSlice interpretation “BASELINE”, and
• Data set with TimeSlice interpretation “PERMDELTA”, containing only differences to the previous “BASELINE”.

Terrain Data Sets will be updated in accordance with AIRAC cycle whenever changes occur as full updated data set.
