The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sakaeronavigatsia, Levan Karanadze, and the Director of the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency, Givi Davitashvili, participated in the Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS 2026), held on April 14–16, 2026, in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco. The event was organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with the support of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The main theme of GISS 2026 focused on transforming global aviation strategies into practical outcomes. Particular emphasis was placed on key priorities such as achieving net-zero carbon emissions, further strengthening flight safety, and advancing the digital transformation of the aviation sector. Participants also discussed important topics including the development of aviation infrastructure, workforce training, professional development opportunities, and financing mechanisms for aviation projects.

Levan Karanadze, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sakaeronavigatsia, moderated a panel discussion dedicated to achieving the highest standards of aviation safety. The discussion addressed practical steps, relevant policies, and technological solutions necessary to reduce fatal accidents in the aviation sector to zero. The Global Implementation Support Symposium is one of the key international platforms in the aviation field, bringing together representatives from government agencies, the private sector, international organizations, and financial institutions. The event aims to define practical steps toward the sustainable development of global aviation, enhanced safety, and improved infrastructure.
